Der Schulterhaken entstand aus einem häufigen Bedürfnis, das Jäger und Outdoor-Enthusiasten gut kennen: Gurte von Ferngläsern, Gewehren oder Kameras, die immer wieder von der Schulter rutschen. Mit Axel, der sich einfach am Rucksackgurt befestigen lässt, gehört dieses Problem der Vergangenheit an. Das nützliche Accessoire kommt in jeder Situation zum Einsatz, in der man einen Rucksack trägt und die Hände frei haben möchte.
Die Schöpferin von Axel ist Maria Grubbström, die in Björkvattsdalen nahe Tärnaby in Schweden lebt. Vor der Entwicklung von Axel arbeitete sie als Schweißerin in ihrer eigenen Werkstatt, spezialisiert auf Kunst- und Gebrauchsschmiede. Maria legt großen Wert auf lokale Herstellung. Axel wird daher in Lappland, Nordschweden, gefertigt.
Der Schulterhaken Axel ist in vier Farben verfügbar: Orange, Gelb, Grün und Pink.

Temperature-regulating & breathable
The tightly woven structure allows the body's own warmth to be retained where it is needed. Water vapour (e.g. perspiration) is absorbed and transported away in a targeted manner.
Water-repellent & wind-resistant
The natural wool grease "lanolin" ensures that loden and felt absorb water only poorly and thus remain pleasantly dry inside when it rains. The breathability allows moisture to be wicked away quickly.
Dirt-resistant & easy-care
The lanolin also makes it difficult for dirt to be absorbed by the fabric. This makes these fabrics ideal for outdoor clothing and accessories, especially in harsh conditions.
