Loden care instructions

Loden and Superior Loden

These fabrics are made from fine merino wool from sheep around the world. They have excellent insulating properties, are extremely resistant to water and dirt, and produce very little noise during movement.

Premium Loden

This material is made from slightly coarser wool from Alpine sheep. It features excellent insulation, high resistance to water and dirt, quietness, and has a slightly more “rustic” character than merino wool.

Note:

Cleaning is possible but often unnecessary. Simply air the garment for a few hours, then lightly brush it, and it will usually be “clean” again. If absolutely necessary, loden can be hand-washed in lukewarm water, gently squeezed, and left to dry naturally. Wool is naturally self-cleaning, especially when exposed to oxygen or fresh air. Rain is also ideal for natural cleaning.

Felt care instructions

The qualitative properties also apply here: stain resistance, durability, excellent insulation, extreme water repellency, low noise, and easy maintenance.

Note:

Wool felt is a non-woven material made from natural fibers (sheep wool). Fluctuations in temperature and humidity can cause the material to expand or shrink, which may affect the size and shape of custom products. Dimensional deviations of up to ±3% are possible. Dirt can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth, dried, and then treated with a soft brush.
